Ride the Krkonoše Diagonal
The longest cycling route in the Giant Mountains connects the towns of Žacléř and Harrachov. This route, also called the Krkonoše Diagonal, will take you through the entire mountain range and offer breathtaking views of the beauty of the Krkonoše. You can choose whether to follow it from east to west or vice versa, and of course it can be divided into stages with overnight stays in huts in the Krkonoše.

Then you will continue along the Czech-Polish border through Horní Albeřice, Lysečinská bouda and Dolní Mala Úpa. You will pass by Spálené Mlýn and Janovy Boudy until you reach Pec pod Sněžkou. Here you will find the most challenging ascent to Výrovka, where you can enjoy panoramic views. Then you will head to the Na Rozcestí Cottage and descend via Zadní Rennerovky and Hříběcí Boudy to Strážný. Here the route turns right and descends to Špindlerův Mlýn. You cross the Elbe River on the White Bridge and climb up the Medvědí cesta to Horní Mísečky. Descend to Dolní Mísečky and take the last ascent to Dvoračky. From Dvoračky you can only descend via Ručičky and Rýžoviště to Harrachov.
