Is it possible to stay with pets?
Unfortunately not. Although we love animals, we do not allow their presence in the cottages.
Can I store my bike or skis in my cottage?
Absolutely, we have planned for that. The cottages are perfect for cyclists and skiers. In our bike/ski storage, you can hang your bikes on our stands. If you have an e-bike, you can also charge it using the accessible outlets. We assume you have your own charging cables since each bike has a different battery and connector. As for skis, they can also be hung, and you can dry "soaked" clothes.
Is it necessary to bring my own towel or slippers?
Regarding towels, they are provided by us. We have several spare pairs of slippers in case someone forgets, but we assume you will bring your own, as everyone has different feet.
Is there coffee available for the coffee machine?
Since everyone has different tastes, we do not provide coffee. The coffee machine is for whole beans, so it's up to you to bring your preferred coffee.
How's the grill? Is it available? What about charcoal?
Yes, a grill with all the necessary tools is available. One bag of charcoal is also provided.
What is the capacity of the cottage?
The total capacity of the cottage is up to 15 people.
What are the accommodation conditions / regulations?
Our accommodation terms and conditions, including the accommodation rules, can be found on our website in the "prices and conditions" section, and we also send them by email with the booking confirmation.
What is/is not included in the price?
The basic price includes the consumption of firewood. On the other hand, the price does not include the consumption of electricity and the holiday fee to the municipality. A refundable deposit is also payable on arrival, which will be returned to you at the end if you do not cause any damage.
When and for how long can we come?
You can come at any time, if your chosen date is available. Minimum stay is 2 nights, maximum stay is not limited. Longer stays (one week) are more advantageous.
Is there a cot available?
Yes, a baby cot is available. There is also a children's high chair and a play area with crayons and toys.
How does the ski lift next to the chalets work?
The ski lift near our accommodation is not owned or operated by us. The ski slope is not artificially snowed, so its operation depends on the current amount of snow and the owners' decision. It is a private lift, but it is ideal for children. There are several ski resorts nearby, such as Mladé Buky, Pec pod Sněžkou, Jánské Lázně and Malá Úpa, which are easily accessible by car.
Is it possible to rent skis, cross-country skis or an e-bike somewhere nearby?
There are several ski and cross-country ski rental shops in the area, such as SKI Drahník in Horní Maršov or ETC SPORT in Svoboda nad Úpou. You’ll also find more options in Pec pod Sněžkou, Janské Lázně, and Velká Úpa. E-bikes can be rented at Pension Liberta, which is just a short distance from us. Additional rental places can also be found in Janské Lázně and Pec pod Sněžkou.
What is the minimum length of stay?
The minimum length of stay depends on the season. Outside the main seasons (spring holidays and summer), the minimum stay is 2 nights. During the main seasons, the minimum stay is 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday). There are specific conditions for holidays: Easter (4 nights), Christmas (4 nights), New Year’s (6 nights). Exceptions can be requested individually.
When is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM, check-out no later than 10:00 AM. Individual arrangements may be possible upon agreement.
Is a deposit required? What are the payment and cancellation terms?
Yes, a refundable deposit of CZK 5,000 is required upon arrival. This deposit will be returned at the end of your stay, provided everything is in order. Payment and cancellation policy. To confirm your reservation, a 50% advance payment is required. The cancellation terms are as follows. No cancellation fee if the reservation is cancelled more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. If cancelled 30 days or less before arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price will be charged. If cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, the full amount (100%) is charged.
Do you provide Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available for all guests.
What about parking? How accessible is the cottage in winter?
Parking is available free of charge directly below the cottage, with space for 3 cars per cottage. During the winter season, we recommend using winter tires and carrying snow chains in your trunk. The access road is maintained, but snowy conditions and occasional icy patches should be expected. The road is treated with crushed stone (grit) for better traction.
What kitchen equipment is available?
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, and small kitchen appliances.
What activities are available in the area? Are there hiking trails and cycling paths nearby?
You can enjoy hiking, skiing, cycling, swimming, cross-country skiing, mushroom picking, and more in the vicinity of the cottage. Yes, there are several marked hiking trails and cycling routes nearby. The Stezka Českem (Czech Trail) also passes through the area.
Are guests expected to clean before leaving?
To maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests, cleaning after each stay is time-consuming. Therefore, if you do not clean the cottage yourself, a cleaning fee will be charged. We kindly ask that you treat our cottage with respect and leave it in great condition for the next visitors. If basic cleaning is not done, a fee of CZK 2,000 will be charged. This amount will be deducted from the refundable deposit.
